Résumé de Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," the fifth novel in J. K. Rowling's acclaimed series, plunges readers into a darker, more politically charged Wizarding World as Harry grapples with the traumatic events of the previous year and the Ministry of Magic's outright denial of Lord Voldemort's return. Isolated and frustrated, Harry spends his summer at Grimmauld Place, the ancestral home of Sirius Black, which serves as the secret headquarters for the newly re-formed Order of the Phoenix—a clandestine organization dedicated to combating Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Upon returning to Hogwarts, Harry finds himself at odds with the Ministry's attempts to discredit him and Albus Dumbledore. The Ministry's influence manifests profoundly through the appointment of Dolores Umbridge as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, and later as the High Inquisitor. Umbridge systematically undermines Dumbledore's authority, imposes draconian educational decrees, and implements a joyless curriculum focused solely on theoretical magic, effectively disarming students against real threats. This oppressive atmosphere compels Harry, Ron, and Hermione to secretly establish "Dumbledore's Army" (DA), a student group where Harry teaches practical defensive spells to his peers, fostering a spirit of rebellion and self-reliance against institutional control. The book delves deep into Harry's emotional turmoil, exploring themes of anger, grief, and the heavy burden of responsibility. He experiences unsettling visions and struggles with Occlumency lessons under Professor Snape, all while feeling increasingly disconnected from his friends and mentors. The narrative builds toward a climactic confrontation within the Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries, where a significant prophecy concerning Harry and Voldemort is protected, forming the crux of the antagonist's ultimate objective. Rowling expertly weaves together political intrigue, psychological depth, and the enduring power of friendship in a world battling pervasive misinformation and systemic oppression.
