Resumen de The tale of Johnny Town-Mouse

"The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse" by Beatrix Potter is a charming children’s story that explores the contrasting lifestyles of two distinct mice—Johnny Town-Mouse, who lives in the city, and Timmy Willie, a country mouse. The narrative unfolds primarily through their interactions as they each visit one another's homes, highlighting the differences between urban and rural life. The story is framed as an allegory, reflecting themes of class and lifestyle, as well as the inherent value of simplicity versus sophistication. Set against the backdrop of a picturesque English countryside and a bustling city environment, the tale addresses the experience of country life filled with nature’s abundance and the refined, albeit extravagant, comforts of urban living.
