Resumen de The Serpent's Shadow

"The Serpent's Shadow," the third book in Rick Riordan's "The Kane Chronicles" series, continues the thrilling adventures of siblings Carter and Sadie Kane, who are magicians in the Egyptian tradition. The narrative unfolds through the use of a dual point-of-view, with chapters alternating between Carter and Sadie, allowing readers to experience the story from their unique perspectives. A key framework in "The Serpent's Shadow" revolves around the theme of family and the responsibilities that come with it, as the siblings grapple with their roles as magicians and their connection to their deceased parents. As they navigate the complexities of their magical world, Carter and Sadie must unravel the mysteries surrounding the enigmatic and powerful serpent goddess, Apep, who threatens to unleash chaos. Throughout their journey, the Kanes engage in various experiments with magic, including summoning and controlling divine spirits known as "ka." They also explore significant locations such as the Egyptian underworld and the hidden chambers of the House of Life. The strong elements of humor and action typical of Riordan's writing style are complemented by deeper themes of sacrifice and the struggle between light and darkness.
