Throughout "Crave," Wolff explores chapter themes that touch on the significance of friendship, trust, and the discovery of one's true self amid overwhelming changes. The school itself acts as a microcosm of societal challenges, where ancient rivalries and prejudices resurface, setting the stage for tension and conflict. Grace's journey is marked by experimentation with her new reality, including friendships with fellow students who each possess their unique supernatural abilities, reflecting on how connections can both empower and complicate personal growth.
